Well, I'm fairly new to all this so may well make a few blunders re. adding Friends and stuff!

It's great to know that there are so many people out there who enjoy crime fiction. Kudos to those of you who also write - I would never be brave enough to try it, and certainly wouldn't have the dedication to put in the time and effort it needs, (and of course - having zilch talent would also be a drawback).

Writers would be nowhere without readers of course :o) I've been writing (but not published) for quite a while. I think it all comes down to having a story to tell, and in my case someone to push me to tell it. The stories are there, believe me, but it is hard work and sometimes discouraging. I just keep plugging away and listening to people who've gone through the wars to get some ideas. Glad you're on the site :o)
