A New Year

On the last day of Bouchercon, in Anchorage, Alaska, a group of Sisters and Brothers in Crime joined together for breakfast and for hailing in a new year of work. Reports were given on the various aspects of the organization (treasury, special projects, PR, Forensics U, and more) and a new Board of Directors was voted in. The new Board is as follows:

Roberta Isleib, President Judy Clemens, Vice President
Marcia Talley, Secretary
Kathryn Wall, Treasurer
Donna Andrews, Chapter Liaison
Mary Callahan Boone, Library Liaison
Jim Huang, Bookseller Liaison
Mary Saums, Review Project Coordinator
Nancy Martin, Member-at-Large
Margaret Coel, Member-at-Large
Rochelle Krich, Past President
Bonnie Cardone, Newsletter Editor
Vicki Cameron, Books in Print Editor
Beth Wasson, Executive Secretary

Others who keep our daily routine going:

Peggy Moody, webmistress Lorraine Bartlett, Blog and Book Club webmistress
Sandra Parshall and Leslie Budewitz, listserv moderators

Of course there are many, many others who work tirelessly for the organization at the national and regional level, and we thank all of you for everything you do. We are a strong organization because of you, and couldn't do it without your efforts.

We look forward to an exciting year, and hope it is a year of progress and fun. The Board is always glad to hear your ideas and comments as we further our mission with your help.

All best wishes, Judy Clemens
SinC Vice President
