Well, it took more than a little time and even more frantic double-checking to be sure that everything was in place, but the second installment of the Carnival of the Criminal Minds is finally up at The Rap Sheet. You can read it
here.
As most of you know,
Barbara Fister proposed in a mid-September
post at Crimespace that a gaggle of bloggers interested in crime and mystery fiction get together and regularly post links to Web-based stories about the genre that they’ve read and enjoyed recently. This
blog carnival rotation started out
at Karen Chisholm's Australian and New Zealand Crime Fiction site. The Rap Sheet was its second stop, and from here it goes to Julia Buckley’s blog,
Mysterious Musings, in early November.
Putting these carnival postings together is rather fun. Not only does it give you an excuse to study the breadth and depth of the crime-fiction blogosphere, but since you're trying to get readers interested in checking back on blogs even after they've enjoyed the specific stories you're recommending, it's good to say something about what you find generally interesting about each site. That exercise serves to reinvigorate your interest in the blogs you visit most. Not a bad thing at all.
Anyway, the tent has been raised on this latest carnival.
Step right up and see for yourself.
And if you’d like to participate in this round robin, send Barbara Fister an e-mail message
here.
