Some weekends are more fun than others, and this one was super. The fans at Malice Domestic are always warm and welcoming. Parnell Hall was hilarious, and it was moving to meet both Mary Higgins Clark and William Link (the guy who created Columbo, Mannix and tons of other great TV shows.) Aside from the awards banquet, the high point of the conference was the panel I was on with some great writers including old pal Barb D'Amato and new pal Debbie Mack.

Of course, the previous weekend at the Maryland Writers' Association Writers' Conference was great too. My session on mystery writing was well received and one of the attendees, Nancy Naigle, blogged about it. Actually she guest-blogged for Barbara Vey at Publishers Weekly and mentioned it. She even posted a photo of me during my presentation.
