Pauline Rowson entertains the National Trust with tales of murder, mystery and DI Andy Horton

On Thursday 20 February I was delighted to entertain the volunteers of the Southampton and District National Trust.

I talked about the inspiration behind the DI Andy Horton series of crime novels, where I get my ideas from, and how I write the novels.

I also read a short extract from Footsteps on the Shore, the sixth  in the DI Horton series.

They were a lovely audience.

'Thank you for a very stimulating, amusing and interesting talk today at the National Trust Southampton Group. Our members had a very enjoyable afternoon and we received lots of positive comments. Thank you for coming, and we wish you every success with your new book.'  National Trust
