Psychopaths - And Why You need to Know

I joined for a number of reasons.  First of all, to draw your attention to an important subject, which of course sits within the subject matter of much crime-fiction, but sadly... affects so many lives in our day to day reality.  I am currently working with a film maker who will be producing a mainstream TV documentary on Psychopaths.

It will delve deeply into psychopathy both from the viewpoint of victims as well as professionals who have built  an excellent base of understanding for what constitutes these interspecies predators.  To me, this is important as a means to educate the mainstream on how to identify them and their patterns and how to avoid their destructive path.  But it will also be a rich medium of information from which writers can use accurate information in character building; which... fiction or not, will help to spread the reality that people need to become more conscious of.  These modern-day vampires will be starkly revealed at the personal, social, macro-social and political levels.

Myself, I am working on a non-fiction book about my own experiences with psychopaths.  Their crimes of emotional abuse, gaslighting, plausible deniability and skirting the law by a hair such that you could call them "successful" psychopaths. (the one's who are not caught and held accountable and who wreak utter devastation on every person they come in contact with.)  They cause the highest levels of trauma and leave lives in shambles.  They are friends, lovers, spouses, siblings, parents, children, co-workers, bosses, people in power and their brains function much differently from about 94% of the population. 

So that being said, I hope you will visit our project page on kickstarter, where we are building the funding for this important work.  The experienced and successful film maker, producer/director Alexander Davidis has stated the case much better than I on the kickstarter page.  Please also watch the trailer video and hopefully you will want to back this project as well as spread the word about it everywhere you can think of.   I appreciate your taking the time and energy to look into this.
