Heyne just sent over their cover for the German edition of Switch, which is set to debut in August, 2009. The title has been changed to The Voice of the Demon for that market. Heyne has high expectations for the book and will be releasing an advance reading copy, plus dedicating two pages in their summer catalogue for bookstore buyers.
Naturally, I couldn't be more thrilled.

It also appears that Australia will be the first country to debut SWITCH. I've been informed the thriller is scheduled to arrive Down Under in the cool trade (large format) paperback style on Dec. 4, 2008.

Thanks, John. It was awfully nice of Linwood to give me the quote. He's had such huge success in Germany and the UK that I unashamedly begged him to read the ARC ;-) His quote translated from German to English, basically reads: "McKenzie knows how to up the suspense."

Wow, I agree with Linwood, he really knows what he's talking about!

Seriously, congrats Grant, it looks great. And Linwood had such huge success in Germany with his thriller it really is great to have a blurb from him - whatever it says.

Thanks, Dana. It was definitely a nice pick-me-up to receive the cover and hear that the publisher is excited about (and dedicating resources to) it.

Titles just sound naturally sinister in German. Congratulations and good luck.
