Looks like we have they same taste in boozers, although I have only been to the Cameo a couple of times since they spoilt it. If I'm in Edinburgh I go to the Oxford Bar, and Ryries or the Caledonian at Haymarket, or the Ensign Ewart near the castle (not the greatest of bars but one of my friends works there part-time)

It's been fascinating. Now that I'm aware, the names just keep coming as I read about others' novels. As humans, we always have more in common than we realize.

Maybe it will be a bit warmer when I come up in May. I lived in Leith for a couple of years and I like to get back there from time to time - which pubs do you use?
