The new book is a warm and fuzzy Christmas story, It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Murder. I'm killing people in a shopping mall at Christmas. (Maybe it's not so warm and fuzzy after all). If you're curious, I've posted the book trailer on my page.

We're both well. Gearing up for my book release next month.

Our youngest child is from China, so we were there in 2003. Loved the landscape, especially in the South. Amazing. Naturally, I also did a lot of other research into history and culture. Wow, I'm flattered you asked me for advice. My endings stop the novel 99.9% of the way through. There should be a little tail wagging in the breeze, making the reader wonder what happens from there. Wrapping everything up 100% isn't as interesting. If you're stuck and don't know how the novel will end, well, that's a different story. A little mental lubrication helps. Also, putting the WIP down for a bit is a catch-all trick no matter the problem.

For a cozy mystery author like myself, I would say that the Malice Domestic conference is the best, though I've also gone to Left Coast Crime and Mayhem in the Midlands, and am attending my first Bouchercon this fall.
