Hi Maxim, Thought I'd say hi, and a belated thanks for reprinting my story, Lost in Darkness (with Ian Faulkner) in Best British Mysteries IV.
Best, SImon
Hi Maxim, Sorry didn't get back to your earlier, been a bit hectic with this Spread The Word lark. My thriller In Cold Daylight has made it to the Top Ten - third in fact. Really pleased. Now people are having to vote for their top title - but I expect you know that already. Interesting times. Must update my profile on here. Still getting the hang of it. Thanks for the invite. Must look up the blog, crime always pays mentioned below. Did you write an article for the Bookseller magazine once? I seem to recall seeing something.
Crikey, the legendary Maxim Jakubowksi ... pleased to make your acquaintance, sir, and I really appreciate the invite. I run a blog called Crime Always Pays, and I'd love to have you over there to do a Q&A to promote Paris Noir, at your convenience. You can get me at dbrodb(a)gmail.com ... Cheers, Dec
Hi Maxim, thanks for the invite, and am happy to make your acquaintance. Hopefully next year you'll get a chance to sell many many copies of my Serpent's Tail noir novel, Small Crimes.--Dave
Glad to see you here. Currently working on bodies (dead or alive) in American and British detective fiction. Don't hesitate to let me know if you have any TBR ideas.

Met you at a book gig a couple of years ago. Many thanks for the welcome. You have a tremendous reputation as a literary connoisseur, editor, critic, reviewer, writer and big-hearted supporter of all things crime fiction-related. An honour to be in touch, and I hope we meet again soon.
