Kid Charlemagne by Steely Dan
Live set for VH-1. The piano player on this *makes* this tune. I saw them on tour not long after they recorded this and it was the best thirty bucks I've ever spent on music.
Oh, and it's a song about a San Francisco coke dealer. How's that for crime fiction related?
