Pennwriters Conference 2008
I spent the weekend in Lancaster PA at the 2008 Pennwriters Conference. My report on the event can be found over at my Writing, etc blog in two parts. The first one is here followed by Part Two.
The conference itself was great. The guest rooms, not so much. And everything was very spread out resulting in some nasty blisters on my toes from too much walking in too new shoes.
Next year, I am the conference coordinator for this one and it will be back in Pittsburgh at the Airport Marriott. So I know the guest facilities will be great. The challenge is to make sure the conference is every bit as good as this year's. I have some big shoes to fill. But we've got Lisa Scottoline for a keynote speaker, so I'm off to a good start.
