A Friendly Writers Conference in Texas
If you're looking for an intimate, friendly conference to help you
meet your writing goals, the Brazos Writers, a non-profit organization
in Bryan/College Station, Texas, is holding a mini-conference on May
25 and 26. The topic is This Business of Writing. The conference
features a workshop by author and writing consultant, Helen Ginger on
writing a synopsis that sells. Conference attendees will also have
the opportunity to pitch their project to literary agents, Mike and
Susan Farris in a roundtable session modeled after the Backspace
Writers Conference. The roundtable session is intended to give you
feedback on your project so you can revise it before you submit and,
we hope, increase your chances of success.
