This piece came out of Publishers Weekly.  I think you'll be interested in the statements made by one of the Big Six publishing houses on how its so costly to produce an ebook.  The question is, does it look like anyone believed him?

I'm with Dan on this one. Why would we believe anything a publisher says about something they obviously do not support?

Sorry, I don't follow that. But I suppose it's not necessary. In any agreement between publisher and seller, the author will be the loser. That's why contracts need to be rewritten.
