John D. MacDonald's GOOD OLD STUFF
Started reading it, but I got turned off when MacDonald boasted in his introduction that he did some rewriting and updating popular-culture references. Anybody know of an edition out there that has the stories exactly as they appeared in the original pulps?

You could try looking at used bookstores for the old material in their original condition.

Would love to hear what you find out, Johnny. Update us. I've only read the Travis McGee series and would love to see some early pulp.
