(More details)  Cicada has only just been released on Amazon and so there are very few reviews. About Cicada

In this fast-paced thriller, Julie Miller is a gifted young journalist who does not like to get go of a story. She escapes to the beach for a break, but in the beautiful Australian resort of Murphy’s Head, she ends up on the trail of a story no one else will touch, and no newspaper will print.

Compared to “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” by Stieg Larsson, Cicada is the debut novel of London-based Australian writer K Davies. Born in Brisbane in 1965, Davies worked in newspapers and parliamentary research, before moving to London for postgraduate studies in 1991 and a career in international charities, banking and policy research.
