for a weekend erotic writing workshop on the Isle of Wight in southern
England. Mitzi is a pioneer of the erotic writing workshop in the UK and
Europe and has lectured in creative writing at several British
universities. Appearing frequently in the media, she also has a blog

About the workshop:

Erotic literature has changed dramatically in recent years. No longer
banished to the top shelves of bookshops, it instead holds court on the
front tables. Approaching the subject from a literary perspective, Mitzi
will pull back the duvet on the field of erotic writing, offering her
own perspective on the craft.

The course will consist of lectures, group discussions, writing
exercises, and workshopping of material. Techniques, pitfalls, and
essentials of erotic writing will be covered, along with a comprehensive
overview of the marketplace for those considering publication. The
course is designed for those looking to either write erotic fiction or
to incorporate the erotic into another body of work. Open to all levels
of writers. This workshop is for both men and women. It will be
conducted at The Old Grange in the heart of Shanklin’s old village, a
short walk from the beach.

Arrivals are from 4pm on Friday afternoon. Dinner, if requested, is at
7:30pm and this will be followed by an introduction of the course and a
get-together. Sessions will begin on Saturday morning from 10:30 to
12:30, Saturday afternoon from 5:00 to 7:00 and the final session will
be on Sunday morning from 10:30 to 12:30.
