Thank you, Eric Stone, for being my friend. Without you I would have no friends at all. Sad, isn't it? And such a handsome photo, too. Oh, well, that's the way it goes.
  • Dick Stodghill

Wow! I've added two new friends so things are looking up. Thank yoy both.

The greatest generation ... yes. Thank You.

I started to lie to myself about my age when I couldn't fathom being older ... now I opt for younger. Go figure.
Dick, I even lie about lying ... but its part of the writer ... uh ... I think.
  • Dick Stodghill

I guess we're all liars, Jack. If it's fiction, it can't be the truth, can it?
  • L.J. Sellers

    Hi Dick
I hope I'm still writing that much when I'm 82. You're an inspiration.
  • Dick Stodghill

Thank you, L.I., but I'm not sure you are right.

    Hi Dick,

Do you have a web address for that UK woman's Published Authors? Thank you.
  • carole gill

Wow! You were at Normandy! I am an American who resides in the UK (marriage) and I've been to Normandy a few times. The most recent time I saw a pillpox wedged in the hills there and I felt so moved. I was able to close my eyes and see and hear how it must have been. So moving! My Dad was in the War but in the Pacific. I can't tell you how very much I admire you and am so thrilled to find you here at Crimespace. I looked at your page, and am going back to read all your info there. Old guy, and you work six hours a day/seven days a week? YOU'RE NOT OLD AT ALL! thanks so much for replying to my discussion.

Early Endorsements for “A Circle of Souls”

Linda Fairstein, NYT Bestselling Author: "A fascinating debut - this novel takes the reader to the darkest places in the human soul, from a writer with the authenticity to lead us there. A stunning thriller and an important read."

Judge Judy Sheindlin, star of the Judge Judy Show: "The seminal work of this fine author kept me glued to my chair until the adventure was over and the mystery solved. A great read!"

    Book Synopsis:

The sleepy town of Newbury, Connecticut, is shocked when a little girl is found brutally murdered. The town s top detective, perplexed by a complete lack of leads, calls in FBI agent Leia Bines, an expert in cases involving children.

Meanwhile, Dr. Peter Gram, a psychiatrist at Newbury s hospital, searches desperately for the cause of seven-year-old Naya Hastings devastating nightmares. Afraid that she might hurt herself in the midst of a torturous episode, Naya s parents have turned to the bright young doctor as their only hope.

The situations confronting Leia and Peter converge when Naya begins drawing chilling images of murder after being bombarded by the disturbing images in her dreams. Amazingly, her sketches are the only clues to the crime that has panicked Newbury residents. Against her better judgment, Leia explores the clues in Naya s crude drawings, only to set off an alarming chain of events.
In this stunning psychological thriller, innocence gives way to evil, and trust lies forgotten in a web of deceit, fear, and murder.
