Profile Information

La La Land
About Me:
PulpStar works an angle - dare we say - unique to the field of crime fiction: the chance for you to STAR in your own "vintage" pulp novel, Reunion with Death. We're talkin' a personalized story, killer. No two tales exactly alike. The same goes for our greeting cards and poster prints. You'd do well to resurrect the lost art of letter writin', friend. And while you're at it, why not frame somebody you love? (And implicate yourself at the same time!)

Who the hell wouldn't want be immortalized (and amoralized, even) as a hard-boiled dick or a dazzling dame, by way of a high school reunion, no less? Nobody, baby, that's who. That's right! It's time for you to be a cool customer and put your own whodunit on ice. And we're here to help. Our custom pulp stuff is straight from the fridge, dad.

Life's too short not to be the star of your own damn novel, especially one that offers two versions: with the gloves on, or with the gloves off. Either way, you're guaranteed twin fistfuls of the finest fictional smut money can buy: PulpStar smut.

Early Endorsements for “A Circle of Souls”

Linda Fairstein, NYT Bestselling Author: "A fascinating debut - this novel takes the reader to the darkest places in the human soul, from a writer with the authenticity to lead us there. A stunning thriller and an important read."

Judge Judy Sheindlin, star of the Judge Judy Show: "The seminal work of this fine author kept me glued to my chair until the adventure was over and the mystery solved. A great read!"

Book Synopsis:

The sleepy town of Newbury, Connecticut, is shocked when a little girl is found brutally murdered. The town s top detective, perplexed by a complete lack of leads, calls in FBI agent Leia Bines, an expert in cases involving children.

Meanwhile, Dr. Peter Gram, a psychiatrist at Newbury s hospital, searches desperately for the cause of seven-year-old Naya Hastings devastating nightmares. Afraid that she might hurt herself in the midst of a torturous episode, Naya s parents have turned to the bright young doctor as their only hope.

The situations confronting Leia and Peter converge when Naya begins drawing chilling images of murder after being bombarded by the disturbing images in her dreams. Amazingly, her sketches are the only clues to the crime that has panicked Newbury residents. Against her better judgment, Leia explores the clues in Naya s crude drawings, only to set off an alarming chain of events.
In this stunning psychological thriller, innocence gives way to evil, and trust lies forgotten in a web of deceit, fear, and murder.

What a great concept!!! Have you gone to trade fairs? There's a market for this. My book, The Beatitudes, is a paranormal thriller set in New Orleans. It will be out in the fall and I am donating all royalties directly to the New Orleans Public Library Foundation. Libraries support the infrastructure of a great city, so I have started The Beatitudes Network to promote awareness of the importance of public libraries in NOLA.
The blogsite www.beatitudesinneworleans.blogspot.com describes the Network, has excerpts from The Beatitudes, recipes, and more. Merci mille fois. Lyn Lejeune.
Writers, please pass the word…..it’s for a good cause….don’t let the libraries of New Orleans or the US go the way of The Great Library of Alexandria. P.S. just posted an excerpt on my page here on crimespace.
