Books And Authors I Like:
I tend to like the darker stuff: Connelly, Rankin, Crais, Lehane, Pelacanos as well as, of course, the classics, Hammett, Chandler, Ross MacDonald. Others include the older Paretsky, Hillerman, Mosley. Two books that stand out in my mind are Lehane's MYSTIC RIVER and Val MacDermid's A PLACE OF EXECUTION.
Movies And TV Shows I Like:
TV: The Sopranos, The Wire, Law & Order (standard and Special Victims). I confess to watching CSI (Vegas) and from time to time Without a Trace and Cold Case. Movies: all classic B&W noir, and a too long list of thrillers though I prefer those with a bit more attention to a real plot and not just total destruction. I couple of oldies (medium aged) I recently enjoyed were Target, a Gene Hackman thriller that was released around the time the Berlin Wall fell and Clint Eastwood's marvelous thriller in which he is a very aged Secret Service agent. Also LA Confidential.

I have just learned that one of my stories "Juanita" has… Continue

Thanks Tim. The clock on this site is all screwed up, or set to some foreign time! For me it is June 5th but your comment says 3 AM on June 6th. I can get confused all by myself, thank you!
