Hi Brian, good to hear from you. I hope you had fun the rest of the day and I REALLY hope the children loved their presents.
Ah bassets, who could resist them? They are an excellent choice of pet for a writer. Opus is 12 in October and he's actually snoozing here under my chair as I type-a cheese induced coma to be honest.
Andrew's going to be picking up a copy of Borderlands tomorrow after work, we were both really awed by the lyricism and the sense of beauty and in your writing, and a crime novel to boot, cannot wait to read it. You must sign it for me next time we meet.
Take care of yourself,
Arlene X
It was lovely to meet you on Saturday - it was a very enjoyable day - especially the last panel. I didn't realise you had a basset - we used to have two! The best of luck with Undertow - I'm looking forward to reading it.
Best wishes
Brian
Good luck with the release of Missing Presumed Dead. I'll be looking out for your works at local bookshops - do you know if they're distributed in South Africa?

Slan Leat.
Great meeting another Irish writer - even if it's only in Cyberspace. Hope to see you in person somewhere.
