(My papillons and I are learning clicker training and canine freestyle.) The first book in my detective series is RACING THE DEVIL, written under the pseudonym E. Michael Terrell. I sound like a cozy writer, but my books are far from cozy. They're PI novels, fairly gritty, I call my protagonist, Jared, a hardboiled hero with heart. I help organize the Killer Nashville Crime Literature Conference. I was a special ed teacher for 12 years and now work for an educational assessment company. OF course, I'd love to be able to write full time. Your turn! Now tell me all about you.

With 30 years as a defense lawyer and prosecutor, I have no doubt that you have no shortage of material for your fiction. Best of luck with your novel. I think that these days every author has to be willing to get involved in marketing their book, regardless of who's publishing. Reece
