About Me:: Boston born, have escaped from time to time; now live outside Lowell, MA, and teach part time at UMass Lowell, where I have been the Jack Kerouac Visiting Writer in Residence. Have published ten novels and two story collections.

Books And Authors I Like:: Classic noir: Chandler, Goodis, Woolrich, et al. John D. MacDonald. Plus love dark fantasy writers like Bradbury, Sturgeon, Clive Barker, etc., and fiction about rock-n-roll (Armageddon Rag; Glimpses; etc.)

Movies And TV Shows I Like:: Have recently rewatched Chinatown and Body Heat and dug them as much as when I first saw 'em. Others, in random order: Double Indemnity, The Late Show, The Long Goodbye, The Two Jakes, The Crow, etc.

I think it's cool you have a series set in Lowell. I work at Moonstones in Chelmsford, and the owner of my restaurant ownes Cobblestones too. Let me know if you need anything for settings and such for your works.
