About Me:: I live in the UK with my wife and younger son.My older son and daughter have moved out! My other interests are photography,music ,history and watching football.(soccer as it is known in some parts)

The first crime writer I remember reading was John Creasey, although I can't remember much about his books.Then I concentrated on serious literature for many years but got disillusioned with it. I think what led me back to crime novels was an interest in psychology which developed through having to confront a rather traumatic childhood.Because of this experience I have a particular interest in the criminal mind and why people are driven to unusual and sometimes criminal behaviour.I also like characters to be interesting and individual.This is one of the reasons I like Fred Vargas's books.One other thing I like about crime novels is that one can suddenly come across ideas about life's questions that are very meaningful and thought provoking.

Books And Authors I Like:: Lisa Miscione.I also like Fred Vargas and Giles Blunt.Just discovered Patricia Cornwell,I find forensics fascinating.
