About Me:: Been reading and love fiction crime stuff of all kinds since I was a kid. I teach English at the State University of New York in Buffalo, including regular classes on crime fiction. I've written of stuff on Himes, Goodis, true crime, etc. and in 2005 I pubiished 'Natural Born Celebrities: Serial Killers in American Culture' with Chicago. Right now I'm working on a book called 'From the Locked Room to the Globe: Space in Crime Fiction.'
