I've written several novel length suspense/thrillers; one will be published in January 2012, titled An Angel Box. The sequel was written during National Novel Writing Month (November) and will hopefully be ready this summer.
Thanks for inviting me, Denny, and please pardon me for being so late in responding -- I have been away from this forum for too long!
I too, enjoy reading Dan Brown, Turow -- well, all of the authors you listed. I also enjoy Sue Grafton's series, especially Kinsey Milhone, her investigator -- she paints Kinsey as being just a "regular" woman, faults and all -- usually driving a VW and wearing turtlenecks and jeans. No glamour-woman, she. No cloak for flying, neither can she leap tall buildings at a single bound.
At this moment, I am watching a re-re-re-re-run of NCIS. (Am I telling my age? My good friend says that I yam, but I disagree...). And after I saw Dr. No, Sean Connery became my first adolescent movie star crush -- except I had a bit of a problem with his hairy back... (TMI, please forgive).
Again, thanks for befriending me -- looking forward to hearing more about your debut novel and the protagonist -- can he/she fly or clear the Empire State Building in just one jump? Is there a cape? Or is he/she just a "regular" human being? (That's where I'd put my money...)

Thanks for adding me as a friend and all best wishes and luck with your book!
Thanks for the invite. Good luck with your book—impressed that you could write sequel in one month! Wish I was that fast. I have never done a trailer--watching yours has made me decide to do so with my current in the works mystery, Mark Rollins and the Caret Murders.
Thank you for befriending me. I invite you to join me on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/eileen.schuh and Twitter--where I'm more active. Congratulations on your debut novel. My first novel THE TRAZ was released in May 2011 followed by my SciFi novella SCHRODINGER'S CAT in August. I hope to have the sequel to THE TRAZ out in the spring. I, too, participated in NaNoWriMo and drafted another SciFi novella. It needs a lot of work, though...computers, artificial intelligent, and androgeny....SKINNER'S BOX.
