Hello Donna: Thanks for your note and the comments apropos my book The Nelson Conspiracy. Your critique was far-reaching and most constructive and I've acted upon some of your suggestions. I was never happy with the opening pars but they read better now.
In fact this is the third version of the book, all major re-writes. It is a true story, you see: the first version was true crime but because of political pressure and the legalities no Aussie publisher would touch it. So I re-wrote it as fiction but it simply didn't work. The current version is faction; only the final eight or so chapters are fiction because the conspiracy is extant; the story has no ending. So the murder victim, a journalistic friend, was just as I portrayed her: further chapters round out her character and explain why she met her grisly and untimely end. It all happened in 1975, since when I've been campaigning to get the truth into the public domain. (Google "juanita nielsen + sydney" for more background.) Still no luck, but hope springs eternal.
I'll put your book on my list to read. Thanks again for your time and kind comments.
Regards,
Barry Ward

Sneaked and read Forever Amber , shocking LOL !!!!!!My 91 yr. old Mother was still reading her favorites, Westerns, before she died. I read somewhere, "when a person dies, a library dies."
