Early Endorsements for “A Circle of Souls”
Linda Fairstein, NYT Bestselling Author: "A fascinating debut - this novel takes the reader to the darkest places in the human soul, from a writer with the authenticity to lead us there. A stunning thriller and an important read."
Judge Judy Sheindlin, star of the Judge Judy Show: "The seminal work of this fine author kept me glued to my chair until the adventure was over and the mystery solved. A great read!"
Book Synopsis:
The sleepy town of Newbury, Connecticut, is shocked when a little girl is found brutally murdered. The town s top detective, perplexed by a complete lack of leads, calls in FBI agent Leia Bines, an expert in cases involving children.
Meanwhile, Dr. Peter Gram, a psychiatrist at Newbury s hospital, searches desperately for the cause of seven-year-old Naya Hastings devastating nightmares. Afraid that she might hurt herself in the midst of a torturous episode, Naya s parents have turned to the bright young doctor as their only hope.
The situations confronting Leia and Peter converge when Naya begins drawing chilling images of murder after being bombarded by the disturbing images in her dreams. Amazingly, her sketches are the only clues to the crime that has panicked Newbury residents. Against her better judgment, Leia explores the clues in Naya s crude drawings, only to set off an alarming chain of events.
In this stunning psychological thriller, innocence gives way to evil, and trust lies forgotten in a web of deceit, fear, and murder.
Just finished reading The Mark...wow, what a great read. Love the character of Henry. Started The Guilty today should be finished by tonight lol...can't put it down.

Thanks for the add, Jason.
Out of curiosity, are you looking forward to the release of The Given Day as much as I am?
Jason,
I ordered "The Stolen" just now from Amazon, can't wait to receive it and begin reading it. I finally got the knee replacement done on July 15th, so I'm trying to do lots of reading to keep me occupied.
Take care,
"The Guilty" was my favorite read this year. It was one of those books that I couldn't wait to get back to reading the next time I got to read. Now, you have peaked my interest in "The Mark". I plan to buy it soon to find out why people were after Henry. Not knowing my history was Brushy Bill a real person? Did they dig up Billy the Kid? Will Henry get back with Amanda or Mya in his next adventure or will there be a new woman in his life? Hmmmm
Seriously, I enjoyed it very much.
The Easter Bunny came a day early this year and I received "The Guilty" In my Easter basket. My son and I buy each other books when there's a holiday and actually, I could stand to leave candy alone this holiday. No bunnies haha
So, it is on my list to read and I'm sure I'll enjoy it.
Thanks for the invite. I'd been meaning to get in touch with you as another MIRA author, but you beat me to the punch! Best of luck with 'The Mark' - I'm just about to start reading it. Let's hope that 2008 is a good year for both of us!
