- Aaack! As an artist myself, I tried to figured out how I'd approach it as a visual and that's pretty much the *ahem* angle I'd have taken. You REALLY captured the essence of the story - great job and thanks for posting the image here. I have zero skills when it comes to this computer stuff.

- Brian: I think of all dogs as puppies, basically a baby to be pampered and adored. Glad to hear your book is doing well.
Jack: Let's hope the agents think so. My McCarthy fandom does not go past BLOOD MERIDIAN - I did not care for THE ROAD, just as you don't share my enthusiasm for OOA. I see lots of gender differences with likes and dislikes, and it's quite a subjective biz we're in.

The cute puppy is in fact almost 4 years old and is very intelligent. she does agility work, search and rescue, and play s flyball and is quite a little star in her own right. The suspenseful wisdom according to Patricia Highsmith
Years back, I read Patricia Highsmith’s book on how to write suspense thrillers. She being one of my biggest influences, I actually annotated the text, printed out my notes and stuck them on the fridge. Figured some of my more criminally inclined blog buddies might get something out of it, so I decided to share the highlights that I pulled from the book:
