I am in the very very very (lol) early stages of writing a 'Pulp' Fiction style crime book, and am just interested in seeing what else is out there, and what others are doing, and reading, and find inspiration. I love crime -am in fact completing a crime degree, crime is my passion and combining my love of books and crime would be awesome :)
I Am A:
Reader, Writer
Books And Authors I Like:
Big fan of Patricia Cornwell, and Stephen King, and Donna Tart
As for books, I love To Kill a Mocking Bird, The Catcher in the Rye, The Great Gatsby.
For crime books themselves, Helter Skelter by Vincent Bugliosi, Death at the Priory by James Ruddick, and currently reading a fantastic book by Charles Van Onselen called The Fox and the Flies

Hi Karoline, v v early stages of writing for me also. Loved Patricia Cornwell, however feel that her last few books a little underdone. On the upside she gave us Scarpetta, Marino, Benton (glad he's back from the dead, how lovely is fiction) and prickly Lucy always feel like old friends. Do you read Linda Fairstein, again characters that I love - Coop, Mike and Mercer very believable II Completing a degree in crime, I am very impressed !!
