Married to the lovely Valerie. 5 children, 8 grand children (soon to be 9) Unusual considering I'm only 43 + vat (I was a child bride). I play golf and guitar with more enthusiasm than skill. Began writing in 1997. First published in 1999.
Michael Connolly, James lee Burke, John Grisham, Robert Crais, Ian Rankin, Lee Child, and, of course, Sheila Quigley, who is a very bad influence on me.
Oddly my favourite British writer is Leslie Thomas.
As a teenager my two favourite writers were PG Wodehouse and Damon Runyon
Movies And TV Shows I Like:
Cool Hand Luke. The best film of all time.

Have you published your book yet. I'm self publishing mine now, as they take up to two years to get them out the regular way. My first ten were traditionally publihsed, never made more than the advance, under three thousand a book.....so now I'm going to do all my own books and that way when they are done, they will be out there... shirley
I'm a Lee Child and Burke fan as well and working on getting acquainted with Ian Rankin. I'll definitely check out your site as well AND search out Sheila Quigley-bad influences can be fun :o)
good luck on your new book, it sounds interesting. Of course you could also make it fiction based on true if you feel that it wouldn't sell good as a true story.
There are so many people who are wrongly convicted in prisons because people can't afford good competent attorneys and so many prosecutors want to get a conviction even knowing the person is guilty. So they change testimony and facts and even lie to get a conviction. And they will continue to do this until they are made to pay.
Even if they are found to be guilty of mis conduct, nothing happens, they don't even lose their jobs let alone serve time for what they've done. Good to know you.... Shirley
