- Educator, writer, artist. I don't yet write crime stories, but I enjoy them. My writing is generally sporadic and across the board ranging from technical writing to children's picture books.

- I started reading classics like Christie, Holmes, Chandler, Hammett, and le Carre which I was 12, moved on to Ellis Peters, Turow, Peter Lovesey, Dick Francis,Tony Hillerman, Martin Cruz Smith, Sue Grafton, Elmore Leonard, Janet Evanovich, Stuart Kaminsky and many, many more. With a few exceptions, I generally stay away from the gritty, grisly and too-realistic in my reading.
