I'm a writer/artist who can't decide which I like best. The power of the Internet fascinates me, and I wish I had more time to play there! My next book, Stranger in My Heart, features a murdered woman with a unique story!

Early Endorsements for “A Circle of Souls”
Linda Fairstein, NYT Bestselling Author: "A fascinating debut - this novel takes the reader to the darkest places in the human soul, from a writer with the authenticity to lead us there. A stunning thriller and an important read."
Judge Judy Sheindlin, star of the Judge Judy Show: "The seminal work of this fine author kept me glued to my chair until the adventure was over and the mystery solved. A great read!"
Book Synopsis:
The sleepy town of Newbury, Connecticut, is shocked when a little girl is found brutally murdered. The town s top detective, perplexed by a complete lack of leads, calls in FBI agent Leia Bines, an expert in cases involving children.
Meanwhile, Dr. Peter Gram, a psychiatrist at Newbury s hospital, searches desperately for the cause of seven-year-old Naya Hastings devastating nightmares. Afraid that she might hurt herself in the midst of a torturous episode, Naya s parents have turned to the bright young doctor as their only hope.
The situations confronting Leia and Peter converge when Naya begins drawing chilling images of murder after being bombarded by the disturbing images in her dreams. Amazingly, her sketches are the only clues to the crime that has panicked Newbury residents. Against her better judgment, Leia explores the clues in Naya s crude drawings, only to set off an alarming chain of events.
I'm on book tour this summer and I'm trying to arrange to be in St. Louis when the Cardinals are in town so that I can go to a game with Helen Simpson who owns Big Sleep Bookstore there.
Acually, yes. I have my "regular" customers whose charts I've done for years, fun to check off all the things that come true (I do the future as well). With publication of my last book, I had horoscope drawings and a coupon in the back of the book for a discount horoscope. With WHERE ANGELS FEAR, there will be a unique promotion with astrology rewards.
In my mysteries, I try to explain what my character goes through physically, emotionally and psychically when she dips into people's lives. The first book is based on a real case I worked with the narcotics team at the sheriff's department. I was asked to do a horoscope on a very suspicious drug dealer. I declined, but then thought "What if?" I actually did the horoscopes of all the criminals involved. Hey, I had their date of birth, so why not? It drove my writing teacher crazy because I let my findings govern my plot.

Norm Maher and Joe Nolan (I'm nicknaming him "Boston").
Thanks for befriending this fellow mystery author!
