Yeah, I worked with Tim briefly back in '83 when he had a small weekly paper, The Western Star, up here in the Roseboro/Clinton area.

I'll look at your site and info. more closely and put your book on my order list. I buy numerous each year, and always try to patronize local folks, especially. Look forward to it.

My own murder mystery, as yet unpublished, is located in Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach, as well as on the UNC-W campus.

Also, forgot her name at the moment(I'll look it up), but Scott Turow's publicist at Hachett Book Group is also a graduate of UNC-W and was close to Tim and his wife while there.

Hi, Mel,

You might have known Tim Bass at UNC-W.

Welcome to Crimespace, Mel. I'm Cher, assistant editor of the new crime fiction podcast at www.crimecitycentral.com , looking for new writers and stories. As a free show, we can't pay for stories, but we can increase your fan base, and our extraordinary narrators can make magic from your words. We accept short stories, collections of short shorts, excerpts, or first chapters. We have a broad definition of crime fiction. If you have a piece you'd like to hear on our show, please get in touch!
