Young up and coming author (just wait). Completely over-educated and have finally decided to pursue writing since I first picked up a pen to write stories at age 9. I have also rediscovered my love of reading through crime and thriller fiction after torturing myself with literary classics.
Humor is great, as long as the writing is good. quality of writing and depth of character is our main concern. Sometimes the funnier a piece is the darker it is, so that's good.
