RUN INTO TROUBLE--a footrace along the California coast in 1969 during the Cold War. But is the Cold War about to heat up? Winner Silver Quill award from the American Authors Association and named best Pacific West book by Reader Views.
HONEYMOON FOR THREE--suspense takes a thrill ride. Winner Silver Quill award from the American Author's Association and Reader Views award for best Mountain West book.
THE HAYLOFT: a 1950s mystery--bobby sox, slow dancing, bomb shelters, the communist conspiracy, and murder
HOTLINE TO MURDER--is the voice on the line that of a killer?
CATCH A FALLING KNIFE--sexual harassment, a stripper, murder in a college town.
THIRTEEN DIAMONDS--an unbelievable bridge hand, but you've got to survive to play it.

Amazon Kindle Books Downloadable to iPod and iPhone

I'm glad to see that Amazon has made Kindle books compatible with iPod and iPhone because 7 of my books are on Kindle. This opens them up to a whole new world. On the other hand, I still like to read real books. It takes all kinds.

Mystery Limericks

I started writing limericks in high school. That was before I got into trouble for publishing a high school look-alike of the 1950s Confidential magazine (a fictional version of the story appears in my mystery novel, The Hayloft). I no longer write scandal sheets, but I do still write limericks. Here are some of my mystery limericks:

I loved Honeymoon for Three, it was very easy to read and get caught up in.

Congrats on the award!

Sorry it took me so long to let you know what I thought of the book, but sometimes life just gets in the way.

Alan,
I'll have to try that. I have five books to give away. Help me work through this. Do I just announce it over the Crimespace blog discussion, or whatever? Refer them to my website to learn more about my books? Please bear with me. I'm new to this; still learning to wade my way through the milieu of promotional wares.

Alan,
Good idea about the drawing for your book. I'm a new author, and getting my name "out there' is a tremendous effort. I'm also new to Crimespace. Explain the "drawing." Could be something I'd like to try. Anything to promote my books.

Hi Alan, just to let you know the copy of "Honeymoon for three" arrived safely - there's been a 2 week postal strike in Liverpool, England, so that has delayed things!

Alan, thanks for the note about my review of the new Dick and Felix Francis novel. My feeling is that every time Francis gets too far from the track, the books suffer. This time, his hero hates horses, so ...
