I'm a fairly recent semi-retiree from a lifetime of technical jobs, aircraft technician ( RAF and CP Air ) Submarine technician, well technician, building project manager. I still do occasional jobs on invitation, but no more than 3 days a week.

Books And Authors I Like:: Some of my favorite authors are Bernard Cornwell, Elmore Leonard, Lee Child, John Davenport, Stephen Leather, Randy Wayne White, Stuart Pawson, Conn Iggulden, Brendan DuBois, C J Box, Chuck Logan, Michael Connelly,,Elmer Kelton, Ken Follett, G M Ford, George Pelecanos,Robert Crais, T Jeff Parker, Laurence Shames, James W Hall, Carl Hiassen, James Lee Burke, Jon Loomis
I like far too many books to mention,- but my absolute favorite is `The Snow Goose`by Paul Gallico, especially in it`s latest illustrated edition. Books can be amusing, exciting, gripping, and informative - but this one really gets to my heart
