I'm a fairly recent semi-retiree from a lifetime of technical jobs, aircraft technician ( RAF and CP Air ) Submarine technician, well technician, building project manager. I still do occasional jobs on invitation, but no more than 3 days a week.

I like far too many books to mention,- but my absolute favorite is `The Snow Goose`by Paul Gallico, especially in it`s latest illustrated edition. Books can be amusing, exciting, gripping, and informative - but this one really gets to my heart

There are things about connecting electronics to one another my son understands so I don't need to. But guess who'll be in the passenger seat in another few years when he learns to drive . . .
Good luck with your OS changeover. I know people are addicted to Macs, but Windows/IBM sure makes things simpler to connect. (Easy for me to say when I'm procrastinating on getting a new computer.) LAS
