This is my favorite kind of day. It's raining -- just sprinkling a bit right now -- and I'm kicked back catching up on email and a few other necessary chores. I really have to try and keep up with this crimespace stuff. I'm mid-edits for the yoga book right now, and my life is my laptop.
Love the new word. I think there could be lots of applications for it. Like when the kids do something totally alien (more alien than usual that is) and you could say that they are acting like nonbloodkin instead of telling them to behave properly etc.
Bloody Words in Toronto next year - that I can get to. Maybe LCC in Hawaii but it is unlikely at this point. Might go to Washington DC the end of May for a Wedgwood International Seminar but that depends on sister. (well on husband and kids too, who may well not be speaking to me by then since I am such a grouch with sister stuff)
