That, if you ask me, is pretty cool. My Lewis' hail from the Southeast as well. My grandfather was born and raised in Jacksonville Florida, so there's a good chance we're related somehow. lol
Linton--just got around to reading your 'hello.' Got stories knocking in my head, but my computers are one the whack and in need of repair. Especially the one that has all my stories and novels stored in the hard drive.
And then to top it off, I changed jobs this month in the hopes of actually making a take home check I can live with. Might have been too optimistic about that decision.
By the way, if you are looking for some talented artists any of your book covers, let me recommend Jesus and Javier Carmona of Madrud Spain. they are the ones who did my fantasy novel covers. You can contact them thru my Facebook listing of them in my friends section.
Dear Linton, thanks so much for dropping me a note. I've read some Barry Eisler. He's pretty good but writes thrillers. He's a hoot on a panel, and very good-looking. SAMURAI had no influence on me. I also remember dimly a Korean setective series. Fairly recent, I think, and not bad. No, my influence came from Robert Van Gulik originally, that and any number of British police procedurals. :)
Linton--a good place to be. There's some really outstanding talent in here and the conversations can be both quite interesting and quite heated. Just the way I like it.

(and yes, it's based on that Steely Dan song)
