Hiya Beth! Yes, it's been a while. How's Denmark? Things are good. After nearly a year out of our house, the repair is done and we move back soon. The writing is going well. I'm getting a good response to my first novel and i'm about 3/4 of the way through the next one. It'll appear in 2009 - some how!

Dear Family/Fans/Friends/Readers

Please join me in the first week of my Virtual Book Tour. Beginning tomorrow, Sunday, January 13th, writer Brenda Kay Wynn will publish an interview with Douglas Quinn on her webblog site at (click on the following or cut and paste into your browser) www.chronclesofelydir.spaces.live.com.

You are invited to go to Brenda’s site, read the interview and comment and/or ask questions. I am looking forward to responding to your comments and queries.

The interview will be posted throughout the four week tour. Weeks two, three and four will have different articles hosted by and posted at other webblog sites. Would love to interact with you along the way.

In addition, each time during the four week tour you leave a comment and/or ask a question your name will be placed into a drawing for a Free Signed Copy of Blue Heron Marsh.. Hope to see you all there.

Smiles,
Douglas Quinn

P.S. Please feel free to forward this invitation to your own email address list. The more people who participate, the happier I will be.

Thanks for adding me. Although I've never been to Denmark, it's on my list of places to visit.

Thanks for adding me -- when I saw "Northern Light" I thought, of course, of the Northern Lights that I see in northern Minnesota. I think we have a lot in common (like cold temperatures and snow).

Thanks again!

You had a good Selection of Writers. I'm not familiar with all of them, but the ones I am familiar with are Brits, and among the best crime writers there.

Thanks for adding me as your friend. Will follow up with some good recommendations. Working at a bookstore has its perks.

Hi! Thanks for adding me to your line-up of friends. I look forward to finding out more about you and your work. I hope you’ll check out my new thriller, IM, about a serial killer preying on gay men using Internet hookup sites.

Yes I visit when I can, I hope to go in a couple of years again. It is important to visit family and keep the connection.

Min fa er fra Ringsted og min mor fra Aalborg. But my Danish isn't that good! All my cousins and aunts and uncles are still in Denmark. One of my favorite places in the world is Skagen, there the northern light is very special.
