About Me:
Years ago I used to be a writer and dreamed of one day writing that great novel. I had my own politcal column in college, was headed toward journalism and creative writing was fortunate for a few of my lyric poems to be published. As things do, things change and now I am a part-time freelance photographer when I have the time or inclination to shoot. By day and I mean the work week day, I am a production coordinator for an ND:YAG laser ... during any down time you can generally find me with a book. I have one with me at all times just in case I have five minutes to continue reading whatever it is I am reading at the time. I miss writing, but I know that is a project left for other people. I believe my place at this point which could change with the right idea or project is to photograph, read and cheer on with interest other writers.
This year was the first time I have ever attended a "book signing." What a great experience to see the authors with their special project that brought them out on tour. So far only two, Lee Child and Brad Meltzer both great men and wonderful writers.

steve berry: venetian betrayal

Nearing completion of my first Steve Berry book: The Venetian Betrayal

It took me a little while to get into and then it was rather quick reading ... once the pace was rolling the story was rather intriguing ... like I said I am nearly done, so I'll update if I end up REALLY liking it ... cause an off ending can ruin a great read. I cannot stand it when a favorite character either dies or the ending does not fit the way the story was headed. LOL

kyle Mills

well I have been attempting to read Kyle Mills' Sphere of Influence for over a month and keep getting distracted ... lol

So do I just a waste more time to continue the attempt or am I just spinning my wheels with a book that is yet to capture any perlonged interest. I mean generally, once I am in, that is all I can think about, and when the book is not in my hands I look forward to the moment it is back there ... I had to actually go get the book to remember the title…
