author update

I've been busy - writing a play, reviewing for a couple different outlets, blogging and working on projects for th Virginia Writers Club.  Still, with several events coming up I know I have to get the promotional machinery running again or I may be forgotten by my readers.  I've learned that the only time the world beats a path to your door is when you're in the bathroom.

Since my last entry I had a book signing at the Borders Express in…

Author Update

We had another great year at the Bay to Ocean writers’ conference. Both my presentations were well received, but the most rewarding part was critiquing new writers' manuscripts. I had one piece that I liked so much that I couldn’t' think of a single criticism to offer. That novel was just announced as the winner of this year's Maryland Writers Association novel writing contest, which I feel validated my opinion of the book. (Congratulations to Edith Goldman for her win!)
