from Lee Lamothe -- a good resource for writers

Folks a colleague just directed me to www.publishingperspectives.com and I've been poking through the site. Several good articles on writing/publishing/epublishing etc. Right now there's a story by Bob Mayer (you might have to search a bit for it but that's okay because you'll find other pretty okay articles along the way). Mayer's article is called "The Hybrid Writer", essentially about trad/pub v e/pub. Lee

Re LA Review of Books site

Folks just a note: the LA Review of Books (not the Los Angeles Times review of books) at www.lareviewofbooks.org has some very good writing content on it. Currently Rohan Maitzen has an item called "Martin Beck Has A Cold", an examination of the ten-book Sjowall/Wahloo series. Definitely worth a read, and a scroll through other essays on the site are illuminating. Lee Lamothe
