Hanging in the Mall this weekend? Me too!
My final book signing of the year in Virginia is at Borders in Dulles Town Center this Saturday. I love this little store because it came back from the dead! I did a signing just before it was shut down by the Borders chain last year. Then the community made them bring it back. Meet me there between 1pm and 5pm, at 21100 Dulles Town Circle, Dulles, VA

I've met with unexpected success with ebooks. The new technology seems to have brought me a new wave of fans. It reminds me that we should never be afraid to try something new. Remember that a lone amateur built the Ark. A large group of professionals built the Titanic.
Borders in the in the Gateway Center was a great host Saturday. Withlive brass playing holiday music and a cheerful crowd my book signingwas a near sellout. Then I signed a few books at Borders in DullesAirport. Not big sales but I did make a couple new British fans and acharming gentleman from Kenya.

My full time job aside, this is the time of year when I try to make the best of my hobby (writing) by making several book store appearances, keeping my blog posts up, pushing a newsletter out, posting to social media sites and maybe adding a few words to the novel I'm working on. As someone close recently observed, there is a very fine line between "hobby" and “mental illness."

Saturday I return to Maryland to sign some books at Borders in the in the Gateway Center. The store is right on Route 301 in Prince Georges's County, across from the Bowie Baysox stadium, 1/4 mile south of the Route 50 interchange. If you're looking for holiday gifts they have a great bargain books section, but of course nothing beats a novel signed by the author, right? Stop in and say hello between 1pm and 4pm, at 4420 Mitchellville Rd, Bowie MD.

My book signing at Borders in Tysons Corner was more fun than expected. Aside from signing lots of books, a couple writing pals stopped by to say hi. For gift-searchers in that area, they have copies of three of my titles left.…Continue
