I'm excited to be a new arrival at crimespace. I'm a huge fan of fictional crimes (since real crime can get you strip searched and jail time). I love reading about it and I love writing about it. While my books are all over the map genre-wise, they do have a central theme: peril.

Someone is always in peril. Someone will die. Bad guys will be stopped. Happy endings are not optional.

If you remember those old, campy melodramas, then you'll know where I got my author brand of Perils of Pauline (though you might not want to admit you remember!). Since I also love humor, it seemed like a natural for me and my books.

Life is excellent here in Houston. What passes for winter down here has given way for a most glorious spring:

This is the view out my front door and the reason we bought this house when we moved here from New Orleans four years ago.

Here's hoping you have great views, fun reads and time to enjoy both!
Perilously yours,
Pauline

How could I forget them? They are the reason I wanted to be a writer.

Love it when good trumps evil. :-) Thanks for stopping by!

My word, someone else who remembers Mary Stewart and Alistair Maclean.

Good trumps evil! That's the way we write it.
