My latest obsession-compulsion: Perez-Reverte

I'm reading all the new Arturo Perez-Reverte novels (at long last; I'd been meaning to get around to them) ...I'm using the justification that I want to study his writing style inside out, upside down and sideways.

I'm saving the historical novels for a later date, when I have more time (yeah, right! Like that's ever gonna happen!)

What's really cool is that I've noticed how young people love him! And of course, in LA, we have as many people (if not more) who read him in the original Spanish as in translation. Anybody that gets teens to sink into a book is OK by me...

I LOVE him! I am such a prose whore that it's just a pleasure sinking into his pages (and, of course, kudos to his translator). My favs so far: The Fencing Master; The Seville Communion; The Club Dumas
