A Book Offer You Shouldn't Refuse Part Deux

Hello All,

This week, some nice publisher people (whose lists I am obviously on by mistake, but shhhhhhhhhh, I won't tell them if you won't!) have sent me some of my favourite books. Since I already own multiple copies of all these books, and keeping them would just be greedy, I thought I would offer them here. If you would like one, please send me a little message thingy and let me know which one (it's a tough choice, you can claim multiple ones if you like) I only have one copy of each so if I get more than one request for each one I will put the names in the bath and see which one the spider currently sitting there walks on first.

The books are:

HARD MAN - Allan Guthrie
KISS HER GOODBYE - Allan Guthrie
DONKEY PUNCH - Ray Banks
SATURDAY'S CHILD - Ray Banks
PRIEST - Ken Bruen
CROSS - Ken Bruen

Now, there's just one slight problem. It may be a wee while before I can get to the post office to send them off, as I am currently sitting with my foot up, having chipped a bone in my ankle. The doctor's official diagnosis was "Oh my goodness, that looks painful." 7 years of medical school, just to state the bleedin' obvious.

Of course, I might be able to send someone out to the post office for me, but since I recently called my ex (who has been very helpful, it has to be said) and told him "My ankle's really sore today, all red and throbbing and I need an ice pack. Please could you get me a bag of frozen peas" and he came back with a tin of processed peas. If I sent him to the post office with books to post he might come back with a roll of brown paper and travel insurance for a skiing holiday in the French Alps.

Cheerio.

PS Distance no object - I like sending packages :o)

Donna: May I have the other Banks? They're really hard to come by here, in the States. In fact, maybe we could work out a way I could pay you to pick up the other Banks book so you could mail it to me at the same time. Thanks!

Jim - it's yours - just send me a message with your address.

Patricia - thank you. I hope you are feeling better - what a thing to happen on holiday! And you were lucky. In Glasgow, you would have got your pocket picked, your boobs felt up, and your purse stolen :o)

Steven - I've replied in the wee message things - a Banks is yours.

Or should I have replied here? In any event a Banks or a Bruen, please. (I've got the Guthries already...)

I justI wanted to wish you well. I fell down a flight of stairs in London two weeks ago and am just beginning to walk easily again. At least five people came to my immediate rescue, mostly asking if I wanted a cup of tea.
