Yesterday’s panel “How to Write a
Mystery” went well. There was a surprisingly large crowd. (I like to think it was my fabulousness and not just people trying to escape the heat and spend a few hours in an air-conditioned room with free coffee and cookies.) I managed to pull off a very convincing impersonation of someone who knows what she’s talking about. All and all it was a lot of fun.

I also got in a nice Crimespace plug when asked to recommend websites for newbie writers interested in the mystery genre. Clearly I'm much better at Blatant Other People Promotion than BSP (or GPS, or GHB, or whatever.)

L to R: Eric Stone, Gay Kinman, Bruce Cook,

me and Bernardine De Paolis.

Thanks for the plug, Christa.

I really do miss the days when I had hair to bleach. Or maybe it was just the fumes.
