What can I say? I had this really nice picture of me raising a glass of 'the creature' in Edinburgh but somehow my 'helper' uploaded this one of me ready to tackle Balloch Country Park near Loch Lomond. For the record, I do have hair (brown), and the cap says "New Orleans" Maybe I'll get that whisky picture on somewhere else on this page :o) Until then, at least I've gotten rid of shadowy creature guy!

Whoops .. something went wrong. Am still learning my way around this site and it threw up some odd "save" dropdows which seem to have result in multiple posts which I cannot delete.

Thanks for the contact Maryann and welcome as a friend. Enjoy "the creature" - there's nothing like a good malt, especially in the place of its making. I have quite a collection of malts from the several different regions and they are so distinctive in taste and aroma. Try Laphroig from the Isle of Mull. The main character in my book(s) always winds down with a glass of Lagavulin. Heaven. Enjoy the trek.
