A Touch of Noir

A few weeks ago I got a crimespace friend request from Jack Bludis. He astutely surveyed my "likes" and recommended the Yahoo Group Rara Avis (rare birds), a group dedicated to the discussion of hardboiled and noir writing. I've been hanging out, you might say lurking, ever since. It's an entertaining and informative group. There're around 600 members and there're around 600 different definitions of Noir. I was inspired to do a little dabbling and decided to create a new blog site for short fiction, the One Man Crime Spree. I've posted my first experiment in Noir, Lucky Man. Check it out if you wish, but definitely take a look at Rara Avis.
